Fernando

Credited with being "one of the best in the business" by the Washingtonian Magazine, Fernando specializes in soft, versatile haircuts and very natural looking dimensional hair color. Fernando has over 35 years experience and continues to attend advanced hair cutting classes and hair color seminars every year to keep his skills up to date. He is a member of Intercoiffure and the International Hair Color exchange.

Fern is recovering from a stroke. He is in the salon for a limited number or hours and utilizes the help of an assistant. Nevertheless, he manages to produce some amazing work.

Paul

A Washington, DC native, Paul's exceptional hair styling talents became evident at an early age. After studying commercial art and design at the college level, Paul came back to his true calling and trained for his career in hair styling. By age 22, he had become part of the Georgetown hair scene. Thirty plus years later, Paul is in more demand than ever. He greatly values the long personal relationships he has enjoyed with his many clients over the years. Paul has also worked with the ABC and CBS news divisions, working with such news personalities as Barbara Walters, Peter Jennings, and Kathleen Sullivan. New clients are by referral only.

Thomas

Thomas is a very user friendly stylist with an innate fashion sense. He has that rare ability to combine color and shape to create hairstyles that range from very fashion forward but can be made more mainstream through the use of a more subtle color palate.

Thomas studied fashion design at Parsons School of design and the New York Institute of Fashion Technology.

Perhaps one of his most important qualities is his ability to put people at ease and to effectively communicate with a wide range of people; from the nervous young woman who is concerned with keeping every millimeter of hair that she has arduously grown yet still wants a change to the apparently conservative career person who wants enough versatility to express a different image when on their own time.

Dragan

Dragan is a European trained stylist who combines an exceptional flair with extensive technical training. A former chemist and educator with an international hair color manufacturer, Dragan is passionate about his work which ranges from fun and whimsical to straightforward and classic. He participates in continuing education to keep his work fresh and his clients excited.

Simone

Simone has over sixteen years of training and experience in the beauty industry, and has spent the last twelve with Bogart. She is a fully licensed aesthetician and makeup artist, specializing in makeup, facials and waxing.

She regularly attends advanced training classes and esthetic conferences to keep abreast of the dynamic nature of the science of skin care. This provides the tools she needs to customize deep-cleansing European facials for her clientele.

Simone's clients include The Kennedy Center, Reuters and the Recording Assoc. of America as well as runway and charity benefits. She has been mentioned in Washingtonian and also frequently receives referrals from area salons for her makeup artistry.

She has provided makeup services along the east coast for her clientele, from Middleburg Bed and Breakfasts to Newport mansions. Simone loves doing weddings, teaching the basics or just finding the perfect lipstick.

Scott

Scott is painstakingly meticulous about his work. His haircuts, be they fun and 'edgy' or classic and elegant are perfectly executed with an uncompromising attention to detail.

His dimensional coloring is soft and natural. He specialized in a very delicate weave that produces a seamless fusion of color.

Scott is a perfectionist who will be happy to spend as much time with you as he needs to.

Lee

A graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York, Lee brings to hairdressing his impeccable taste and his sensitivity to shape, balance, texture, and proportion. His low-key tranquil personality is a perfect match for the high-profile Washington power-brokers that he looks after.

Camille

Camille is a graduate of the London based Graham Webb Academy and is an innovative fashion-forward stylist. Having received advanced color training with Goldwell International and Redkin, Camille's color work ranges from soft and natural to bold and vibrant. Camille is out going and loquacious. Her clients always leave feeling young and beautiful.

Perry

Perry hails from Ghana, West Africa and is an expert in styling Ethnic, multi-ethnic,and yes, caucasian hair. He expertlly puts in hair extentions, hair weaves, relaxers and works with natural hair. He is an expert colorist, cutter and special event stylist. He often styles models for Sax 5th Ave fashion shows and the Washington Post. His low key and unasuming personality masks his remarkable talent.

Joann

Joann has devoted much of her professional energy to the pursuit of excellence through constant continuing education. As a member of the International Hair Color Exchange Joann is an expert colorist that can create soft, subtle enhancing highlights, turn out a beautiful blond color with depth and variation, rejuvenate graying hair using strategically placed lowlights and a non damaging ammonia-free glaze. Correction an existing color problem is one of Joann's most satisfying challenges.

By conducting a thorough and insightful consultation before every service, Joanne is able to create flattering, wearable hairstyles for her clients

Joann is as adept with a pair of scissors as she is with a tint brush. So deep is her understanding of hair that she cuts almost intuitively getting her direction from the depths of her creative spirit. The beautiful shapes she creates come to life as the hair is dried and finished.

Heather

Heather received her training at the Vidal Sasson Academy in London. Her work is, therefore, very technically oriented: not one hair escapes her ever watchful eye. Heather's haircuts are simple, direct, and perfectly executed. They fall into place effortlessly and can be styled with a Denman brush. Heather is also an accomplished colorist. She specializes in very natural looking color by weaving fine sections of complimentary colors to her base color to enhance the beauty of her haircuts.

Event hair and special updos are also expertly handled by Heather. Her styles for special events are simple, elegant and contemporary. For wedddings, we recommend a run through to decide what will look best with the wedding gown. Heather has impeccable taste and will be happy to work with you in exploring the possibilities of your hair.

Chris

To say that Christof is drawn to fashion and hair design is an ambiguous statement. He is literally drawn to them. Ever since he was a child he has had a special affinity for classic designs. As his passion and distinctive taste for styling matured, so did his desire to draw out the fanciful imagery in his head.

Though Christof was born with an eye for hair design, much of his finely tuned talents can be attributed to his mentor... Yates attended Graham Webb International Academy of Hair in Rosslyn and then graduated from Spectrum Beauty Academy in Alexandria. Afterward, Yates served as an apprentice for Fernando Ferre in Georgetown. For a little over a year he practiced his technique and learned how to work with precision and class.

"Fernando taught me things about being a professional that I couldn't learn in school. He taught me how to work smart and not hard with clients" said Yates. "Most importantly, he taught me anyone can have sexy hair."
